This is one of our work for HDB 4 Rooms at Yishun.
This particular project below is one of our best. The pricing of this particular project is S$65K for renovation alone. After adding the cost of furniture, etc, the total pricing is S$100K.
The size of the house is 1,000 sqft.
Take a look at these photos of before and after renovation.
As you can guess from the photos above, this is a major overhaul project. It actually took 2 months to complete this project. But it’s definitely worth it.
The owner of this 4 rooms HDB unit is a young couple and they want their home to be stylist, modern, yet simple and also comfortable. The project is designed by our own managing director, Wilson Teh.
One of the main draw of this project is the use of glossy surface that will bring luxury effect to the overall house.
The idea of shiny glossy interior can be overwhelming in the first place. However, with Wilson as the person in charge, it turns out to be a masterpiece project. Instead of using normal white walls, he designed the wall to use dark brown with some shadow effect that looks very classic and beautiful.
One of the owner’s main request is to have a well-lit home, but without using the normal boring direct light attached right on top of the room. So, Wilson design the house to use recessed lights as the main lighting that is very effective in producing a comfortable ambiance.
To deal with the long living dining area, Wilson design to use a wall of tinted mirror panels along the passageway. Together with the use of recessed lighting between the panels, the living dining area looks more spacious and visually more attractive.
The lighting concept apply in overall house. With this kind of lighting, the house looks and feels much more cosy and comfortable.
The lady of the house loves to cook and bake. They also frequently has friends come over for meals and gathering. Therefore, the kitchen is one of their favorite space. The kitchen is then designed to look sleek and stylist with the use of black glossy cabinet. As for the space, Wilson implemented floor to ceiling cabinet. Kitchen appliances like oven and refrigerator are also designed as a built in. As the result, the kitchen looks very neat, uncluttered, spacious and optimized.
Oh by the way, there’s something unique about the bathroom entrance design. The entrance to the bathroom is concealed as part of the tinted mirror panels on the wall, keeping the passageway to be sleek and polished.
Overall, our customer is very happy and satisfied with their new home.
