Expected to TOP on 31 August 2014, this upcoming executive condo is at the center of Punggol Drive and Punggol East in District 19, near Punggol Waterway. The developer of this project is Qingjian Realty (Punggol) Pte Ltd. It’s only 2-minute walk to the Kadaloor LRT.
Singapore’s leading interior design company Rezt ‘n Relax’s Managing Director Wilson Teh has created a 3D design of a 3-bedroom unit and will achieve it in just under S$40k.
The living room is dominated by the shades of the color white from the marble floor, to the off-white wall and to the white ceilings. The big windows allow the room to become even bigger allowing a lot of natural light to come in. A feature wall where the flat screen is mounted and is emphasized by a backlight adds more texture to the the room. To diffuse all the whiteness, a brown rug and a grand piano are added. The cream sofa and the dining area are placed back-to-back allowing a more linear flow to the room.
In this alternative design, the feature wall is simply in plain white with a strong black overhead accent. The dining area is also partitioned with a full height open shelf.
This is the extension of the alternative design with the foyer sporting the strong black wall with storage cabinets.
The master bedroom has a parquet flooring and the front wall and ceiling are painted white. A brown rug is used and the back wall is painted with light gold color that is helped illuminated by the lights behind the headboard and the lights underneath the platform where the mattress is placed over. The raised platform adds more dimension to the room and gives off an airy, light feel. A feature marble wall is emphasized by a backlight. And a pair of golden brown curtains complement the flooring and the rug.
In this alternative design, the headboard is blue-green in color matching the platform and the hanging side table. The feature wall has an abstract design with a subtle bluish color that marches the color of the headboard and the platform.
The concept of having the bed on a raised platform allows the room to appear spacious. To optimize the space underneath, it was utilized a book shelf. An entertainment system is placed directly in front of the bed. Rather than a table that would normally take up space, a hanging desk was used. Without legs, there’s more space to move around. A brick-wall wallpaper is used to provide symmetry and help elongate the room that is in line with parquet flooring.
The boy’s room makes use of linear patterns with the brick wallpaper and the parquet flooring as the highlight. The linear theme continues on with the shelf with uneven square spacing. The bed is placed on top to maximize the area of the room. A mini staircase gives the room a concept you find in a loft and gives the impression of a high ceiling.
This girls’s room is accented by the pink color. A raised platform with 2-steps where the bed is placed gives the impression spaciousness. The wooden working desk, the shelves and the platform go perfectly with the parquet flooring. Translucent white shades complement the white wall and with the heightened windows allowing more natural light help create a spacious room.
In contrast to the pink room above, this room is given a more neutral treatment with black and white making up most of the room. The black wall compliments the black accents on the cabinet, drawer and the step. The white floor bed, shelves and shades help tone down the black color.
The third alternative design is plastered in color white giving it a more airy feel.
A more minimalistic approach is given to this room. The white color makes up most of the room.
